形態特徵

• A scandent shrub; stems pubescent when young, soon glabrous, dark brown, with few prickles up to 4 mm long.
• Leaves 3-foliolate; terminal leaflet ovate-rhomboid, 4–8 cm long, 3–5 cm wide; lateral leaflets obliquely ovate to subrhomboid; apex acute to short acuminate, the base cuneate to rounded, the margins serrate to biserrate, the midrib and veins impressed above, prominent below, upper surface hairy on midrib and nerves and often also in between, lower surface white-tomentose; petioles 2–6 cm long, pubescent; stipules linear to linear-lanceolate, 5–8 mm long, outside pubescent, inside glabrous.
• Flowers 4–15, cymose, axillary or terminal; pedicels 6–10 mm long, pubescent; bracts linear; calyx-lobes lanceolate, 4–5 mm long, pubescent on both sides; petals white, obovate-spathulate, about 4 mm long, outside slightly hairy at base; ovary hairy, style up to 2 mm long, hairy at base.
• Collective fruit globose, 5–8 mm across.

分布

• 台灣 : Taiwan, in the central mountains at medium altitudes.
• 世界 : China and Japan.
